The ideas and projects in the final round of the 2022 Start-up competition in the Mekong Delta region

(TVU) – The Student startup supporting network in the Mekong Delta (3S-Net) announced 17 ideas and projects that entered the final round of the competition of Students with startup ideas in the Mekong Delta region in 2022.

The competition is organized by the Student startup supporting network in the Mekong Delta region (Mekong Delta) in collaboration with Tra Vinh University.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An – Secretary of the Youth Union, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Tra Vinh University, said: “This competition is large-scale with great importance and significance in the orientation of training, education and promoting the network of innovative startups in the Mekong Delta region.”

The final round of the competition will open on the morning of November 12 at Lecture Hall D5, Campus 1, Tra Vinh University.

After passing the preliminary rounds, the authors’ 17 best ideas/projects will continue to compete in the final round. The Organizing Committee will award prizes to the most potential and creative projects. The program allows the teams to present and introduce their projects to seek investment opportunities, thereby realizing their ideas.

Accordingly, 17 ideas/projects that participated in the final round of the competition include: the projects of Banana fiber fabric, Crayfish fish sauce, Center for psychological counseling and support, and Water level monitoring equipment and remote pump control of Tra Vinh University; the projects of Katuk-made products; Jam (Sweet potato-lemon) production and trade; and Handicrafts and jewelry from the shells of Kien Giang College; The projects of Dried lotus seed with salted egg flavor products, Sen Hong restaurant, and Cu Đơ candy (lotus seed and molasses and covered with rice pancakes) of Dong Thap Community College; The projects of Green banana (Greban), Aquarium and fish care services, Masks with a tangerine flavor against car sickness, and Anchovies of Kien Giang University; The projects of Wine from Siraitia grosvenorii fruit, Processing and trading grilled chopped snails stuffed with bamboo leaves of Can Tho College of Economics and Technology; Vietnamese culinary chess set of FPT University Can Tho.

This competition has been accompanied by agencies, departments, and branches of provinces in the Mekong Delta region. Within the framework of the final round program, on the same day, there will be a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between Tra Vinh University and the DTS Digital Transformation Alliance, the Department of Science and Technology of Kien Giang province, Ca Mau Investment Promotion And Enterprise Support Center (iPEC). The program “Sharing satellite models to support startup students” is also expected to take place at the Business Incubator of Tra Vinh Province, Campus 1, Tra Vinh University.
