(TVU) – On December 13 and 14, 2021 – Lecturers of the Engineering and Technology Faculty of Tra Vinh University attended the 24th National Science Workshop in 2021 on “Some selected issues of Information and Communication Technology” (VNICT). The workshop was co-organized by the Information and Communication Technology University – Thai Nguyen University and the Institute of Information Technology – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in Thai Nguyen City in the online and face-to-face combination.
The conference has taken place 24 times with different focus topics suitable for topical problems of the Information and Communication Technology industry. “Artificial intelligence in digital transformation” is considered the hottest topic today. Therefore, the workshop attracted nearly 300 delegates, who are scientists, lecturers, and students from many universities.
Nguyen Truong Thang, Director of the Institute of Information Technology – Head of the Organizing Committee, said: “This conference received more than 200 articles from authors across the country. After two rounds of independent review, the organizing committee selected 115 best articles to publish in full text in the yearbook of Science and Technology Publishing House with the international standard number (ISBN) and awarded points for equivalent scientific works of the State Council of Professors and Associate Professors”.
Tra Vinh University has two papers selected to be published and presented at the Information Security subcommittee of the conference, including: “Two-layer reversible information hiding based on PVO” – by the team of MSc. Tram Hoang Nam, MSc. Huynh Van Thanh, Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thai Son and the article “Forward-inverse information hiding solution based on two-layer expansion in each image block” – by MSc. Huynh Van Thanh, MSc. Tram Hoang Nam, Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thai Son.
The conference is the opportunity for researchers, teachers, and managers, who work in the field of information and communication technology, to exchange academic knowledge and share experiences as well as seek mutual cooperation.
