TVU – On September 21, 2023, The Study Promotion Association of Taiwanese Business in Vietnam awarded 29 scholarships to 20 undergraduate and 9 graduate students at Tra Vinh University, totaling 250 million VND.
Mr. To Kien Nguyen, Chairman of The Study Promotion Association of Taiwanese Business in Vietnam, and Mr. Tran Phat, Vice Chairman of the Chinese community in Tra Vinh province, attend the ceremony.
Aside from Tra Vinh University, there are Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Vice-Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, representatives from various departments, schools, and the scholarship recipients including 9 graduate and 20 undergraduate students.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, the Rector of Tra Vinh University, expresses gratitude to The Study Promotion Association of Taiwanese Business in Vietnam, Mr. To Kien Nguyen, and Mr. Tran Phat for their deep affection for the students.
Mr. To Kien Nguyen, Chairman of The Study Promotion Association of Taiwanese Business in Vietnam, mentions that this is the second time they have awarded scholarships to students at Tra Vinh University. They always have a deep affection for the people of Vietnam and, most importantly, aim to support and encourage students to overcome educational challenges and pursue research. He hopes that this scholarship is a meaningful gift and contributes to the university’s educational efforts, inspiring students to strive harder in their studies and research.
Student Tran Thi Anh Dao, a 2022 Chinese Language undergraduate, extends her gratitude to the sponsors, university administration, professors, friends, and supporters for their timely assistance. On behalf of the 29 scholarship recipients, she promises to continue striving and working harder in their studies and life.
