Tra Vinh University achieves 3 more FIBAA international education accreditation programs: Bachelor of Law, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Economic Management

Tra Vinh University (TVU) attaches importance to improving training quality, leaping through international integration in teaching and researching activities. Besides, the assuring activities for those programs are also involved. Up to the present, Tra Vinh University is one of the top universities in the Mekong Delta, providing quantities of programs that follow the international education accreditation, according to the standard of AUN-QA, FIBAA, ABET. 13 training programs were estimated to fulfill the requirement of education. Among them, 05 programs meet the international standard of AUN-QA involving: Agriculture, Fisheries, Veterinary Medicine under the Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries; Nursing of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy; Khmer language belongs to the School of Southern Khmer Language, Culture and Arts. In addition, 07 FIBAA international accreditation qualified programs are: Business Administration; Economy; Law, Accounting and Finance and Banking, Master of Business Administration, Master of Economic Management from the Faculty of Economics – Law; the major of Information technology – belonging to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, has completed the ABET certifying procedure. Moreover, the rest of TVU’s majors are still in the process of AUN, ABET, and FIBAA recognition.

In recent years, Tra Vinh University has focused on investing in specific fields, expanding diversified majors that intertwine the business community with the demand for human resources in economic and social development in the region. Besides the training of 51 undergraduate majors, TVU has 27 majors that reach the master’s level, 10 majors at the doctoral level, and 05 specialized majors at level 1: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Odonto-Stomatology.

The University promotes international cooperation in training and broadens the students transporting to work abroad in nursing, engineering, technology, agriculture, livestock, culture, and tourism…, which is attached to the enterprises conducting training based on the employers’ address. Plus, the Coop training program – TVU’s specific training model – is being extended. Additionally, the University expands the training programs in many foreign languages ​​such as English, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc. This affair helps students to widen their job opportunities domestically and overseas.

According to the experts, once a university’s training program is accredited to meet the international standards, that program will be certified in terms of the training quality. Assurance conditions such as modern facilities, endorsed lecturers, advanced training programs, and active teaching methods are qualified to help learners develop their capacity to meet the increasing demand for recruitment. Students attending accredited majors by FIBAA, AUN – QA, and ABET at TVU will have more chances to seek jobs, integrate into the international labor market, and improve themselves.
