Tra Vinh University approves undergraduate program in entrepreneurship and business management

On the afternoon of February 9, 2026, Tra Vinh University organizes an appraisal session at the Vinh Long Provincial Business Incubator for the undergraduate training program “Entrepreneurship and Business Management” under the Business Administration major.

The appraisal council is chaired by Dr. Nguyen Van Tan, Vice Rector of Lac Hong University and member of the National Advisory Council for Innovative Entrepreneurship (VSMA). Council members include Dr. Huynh Nhut Nghia, Dr. Chu Bao Hiep, Dr. Thach Phuoc Binh, Dr. Le Ngoc Danh, MSc. Pham Van Tam, and Dr. Pham Van Ca as Secretary.

During the session, the council notes that the program is carefully developed and provides sufficient information in line with regulations. The training objectives align with the demands of the digital economy and current social development trends. The curriculum balances knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes, while emphasizing application, hands-on learning, and real-world experience through project-based courses, practical business models, and modern content such as artificial intelligence applications in management, digital marketing, and sustainable governance.

The council confirms that the learning outcomes follow a competency-based approach closely linked to program objectives and job requirements after graduation. The curriculum structure follows a logical pathway that ensures coherence among modules and supports the development of professional capacity in entrepreneurship and business management at the undergraduate level.

Alongside these strengths, the council recommends further refinement to enhance quality and program identity. Suggestions include clarifying the positioning of the entrepreneurship focus compared to the traditional Business Administration program, standardizing objectives and learning outcomes in a concise and measurable format, updating textbooks and learning materials, and strengthening the participation of enterprises and industry experts in teaching, supervision, and student assessment.

On behalf of the drafting committee, MSc. Nguyen Van Vu An, Vice Chair of the program development council, acknowledges and accepts all feedback from the appraisal council. He states that the drafting team will review and revise the curriculum to ensure scientific rigor, relevance, practicality, and alignment with the development orientation of Tra Vinh University and labor market demands.

At the end of the session, the appraisal council conducts a vote and records unanimous approval. The “Entrepreneurship and Business Management” program receives full endorsement, with recommendations for final adjustments before official implementation in the near future.
