TVU – Joining the vibrant atmosphere of the event, Tra Vinh University presents an admissions and career guidance booth with practical activities, attracting many parents and high school students to explore information and plan their future careers. On March 22, Tra Vinh University takes part in the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Day organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper at Can Tho University, offering a friendly, engaging, and informative consultation space.
The event allows Tra Vinh University to connect directly with a large number of high school students, share the latest admissions information, and provide practical career orientation. At the program, the university’s booth becomes a popular stop where students receive clear guidance from consultants on the 2026 admissions regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, including application methods, registration preference timelines, and tuition and scholarship policies. The team also shares insights on career trends, labor market demand, and job opportunities in a changing economy.


Alongside direct consultation, the booth creates an interactive environment with games, student exchanges, and small gifts, helping visitors engage more actively and understand student life at Tra Vinh University.
Through the 2026 counseling day, Tra Vinh University strengthens its connection with students and supports them in choosing suitable study paths based on their abilities and interests. On January 12, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signs Decision No. 73/QD-TTg to transform Tra Vinh University into Tra Vinh University under a new institutional model. The university now includes five member colleges: College of Economics and Law (CEL), College of Khmer Southern Language-Culture-Arts and Humanities (CLASKA), College of Medicine and Pharmacy (CMP), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), and Tra Vinh Practice Pedagogy School. In 2026, Tra Vinh University offers 49 undergraduate programs across fields such as agriculture and aquaculture, engineering and technology, health sciences, economics and law, logistics and management, education, applied chemistry, foreign languages, tourism and hospitality, biotechnology, environment, and Khmer Southern language, culture, arts and humanities. The university introduces two new majors, Psychology and Agricultural Technology. The university applies supportive policies for students, including full tuition exemption for pedagogy majors under Government Decree 116 and for Traditional Musical Instrument Performance, along with a monthly allowance of VND 450,000 for this program. Students in Cultural Studies and Musicology receive a 30 percent tuition reduction. Each year, the university provides various scholarships for academic excellence, financial support, scientific research, and startup activities. Female students in engineering and technology programs such as transport engineering, construction engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, electrical and electronics engineering technology, control and automation engineering technology, automotive engineering, and related fields receive scholarships worth 50 percent of tuition fees. Female students in applied chemistry programs receive scholarships worth 30 percent of tuition fees. Tra Vinh University maintains a strong presence in international rankings. The university stays in the Top 100 of the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) for six consecutive years and ranks 29th globally in 2025, up 13 places from 2024. It continues to appear in the Top 200 of UI GreenMetric for green and sustainable universities and earns recognition for digital transformation excellence for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024. The university has 27 programs accredited by international organizations such as FIBAA, AUN-QA, and ABET, placing it among leading institutions in the Mekong Delta.
