(TVU) – On May 10th, Tra Vinh University (TVU) held a formal meeting to commemorate the International Nurses Day at TVU main campus with the participation of leaders from Tra Vinh Provincial Health Department, TVU school of Medicine-Pharmacy and its students.
At the meeting, Doctor Tran Quang Minh-the representative of the Health Department said: “The International Nurses Day is commemorated worldwide on annual May 12th to mark nurses’ contribution to society.”
Nguyen Thi Thu Van, TVU student in nursing major expressed: “I am very glad to become a nursing student because I am having opportunities to help patients.”
On the same day, Tra Vinh University organized the competition with the theme “Nursing Students: Intellectual Talent” attracting the enthusiastic participation of students in the medical field. The competition aimed at offering students great opportunities to foster and exchange their professional knowledge.
