On April 4, Tra Vinh University organized a meeting with the leaders of World Wildlife Fund – Vietnam (WWF Vietnam) and the leaders of Kim Delta Training & Consultancy Limited Liability Company at Tra Vinh University. This is an exchange meeting to promote science and technology development related to aquaculture models and researches on response and adaptation to climate change which affects aquaculture and the environment.
At the meeting, the parties discuss the advantages, disadvantages, and specific solutions to promote the development of science and technology in the aquaculture system as well as the solutions to prevent and protect the environment.
MSc. Nguyen Kim Thanh, representative of Kim Delta Training and Consultancy Limited Liability Company, said: ‘Currently, students often launch projects based on their passion, so team projects have not been fully met the feasibility requirements of the investors. It is expected that students will have more feasible projects meeting living needs.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Thuy, representative of WWF Vietnam said: ‘The development of scientific quality improvement in aquaculture system must go together with the solutions of ensuring sustainable development environment and avoiding pollution affecting the quality of aquaculture.
On the same day, the leaders of Kim Delta Training and Consultancy Limited Liability Company and the leaders of WWF Vietnam visit the system of aquaculture models, technological processes, equipment, and working environment at the Aquaculture Center of the Agriculture and Fisheries Faculty of Tra Vinh University. The leaders have highly appreciated the organization’s scale, production capacity, and development orientation of the faculty. It is promised that there will be more projects to bring this system to further development soon.
Mr. Vo Hoang Khai – Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University expresses his sincere thanks to the leaders of Kim Delta company and WWF Vietnam for their visits and cooperation with Tra Vinh University. He hoped that in the upcoming time, the parties would have more opportunities to cooperate in more fields.
