Tra Vinh University delivers over 200 gift packages through “Zero-Cost Tet Stall”

During Lunar New Year 2026, Tra Vinh University organizes a “Zero-Cost Tet Stall,” presenting more than 200 gift packages directly to students, especially those in difficult circumstances and those residing in the dormitory.

Each package includes essential food and daily necessities such as sugar, seasoning, fish sauce, soy sauce, rice, instant noodles, and fresh vegetables. Organizers carefully prepare the items to help students enjoy a more complete and warmer Tet holiday.

Alongside the gift distribution, the university holds a series of cultural and recreational activities, including exchanges, calligraphy writing, a traditional lotto show, lucky draws, and folk games. These activities create a lively Spring atmosphere and strengthen connections among students.

The stall takes place in a warm and joyful setting during the early days of the new year. Dang Thi Truc Mai, a student from class DA25YTC, shares that she feels happy and grateful to receive a Tet gift from the university. She notes that the support carries special meaning for students who stay far from home.

Ms. Phung Thi Phuong Khanh, Director of the Center for Community Service, states that the “Zero-Cost Tet Stall” forms part of the “Spring of Love” series and activities welcoming Vietnam Social Work Day on March 25. She explains that the program aims to send messages of care and encouragement to students as they begin the new year.

The initiative receives contributions from university leaders and lecturers, reflecting a spirit of sharing and community responsibility. Although simple in form, the gifts carry strong emotional value and demonstrate care for students’ well-being.

The “Zero-Cost Tet Stall” spreads compassion within the Tra Vinh University community and reinforces the university’s commitment to social responsibility. The activity also forms part of the “Party Celebration – Spring Welcome” series, marking the 20th anniversary of Tra Vinh University and 25 years of the Tra Vinh Community College model.
