Tra Vinh University develops students’ start-up initiatives

(TVU) – Since 2016, Tra Vinh University (TVU) has promoted supporting activities in which start-up initiatives and scientific research activities are mainly focal toward creating best opportunities for students after graduation.

Mr. Nguyen Nhat Thanh, TVU Youth Union Secretary said that in recent years TVU has been extending its collaborative networks with businesses in Coop programs and delivered the policy of support to students’ scientific research and start-up initiatives.

In order to enable students to adapt working environment well after graduation, TVU has offered soft skills training course, established employment center and set funding sources for students’ research.

Vo Tan Bang, TVU student in law said that they have received the great supports in start-up models such as general department store, photography, stationery, school bus service, coffee shop, Southern cuisine, chemical-free produce shop, etc., which all have been operating well at this university.
