The first days of enrollment are always an exciting and unforgettable time for every new student. Stepping into the Tra Vinh University dormitory, students immediately feel the fresh, airy atmosphere with landscapes full of flowers and greenery throughout the walkways, creating a friendly, welcoming environment full of life.
The dormitory currently has five spacious, modern buildings with capacity for up to 3,500 residents, meeting the needs of many students from within and outside the province. Security camera systems are installed throughout all areas combined with a 24/7 security team on duty, ensuring safety and security for students.
In addition, the dormitory has convenience stores serving daily necessities, spacious student parking areas, and many playgrounds and outdoor sports equipment to help students exercise and relax after stressful study hours. The dormitory space is covered by the green of trees, along with many types of flowers blooming year-round, bringing a fresh, cool atmosphere that is green, clean, and beautiful.
Mr. Le Minh Lanh, from former Tien Giang province (now Dong Thap province), father of student Le Thi Thuy Vy from the 2025 Nursing class, said: “I see the dormitory is airy, clean, and secure. Living in the dormitory with strict schedules will be safer than living outside.”
Mr. Pham Hoang Minh, from An Giang province, father of new student Pham Thi Ngoc Nu from the 2025 English Language class, also expressed: “I see the dormitory is secure, clean, beautiful, and cool.”
Mrs. Tang Thi Song, from Ham Giang commune, Vinh Long province, mother of Thach Thi Sa Ruong, a student in the 2025 Khmer Language class, said: “I am from Ham Giang commune, Vinh Long province. I am happy to see my child go to school, but a bit worried since this is her first year. The dormitory has an airy and beautiful landscape with many green trees. I hope she will get along well with her roommates so they can live together harmoniously for a long time.”
Bui Quoc Linh, a student from the 2023 Preventive Medicine A class, who has been helping new students register for dormitory accommodation for three consecutive years and is also a resident of the dormitory, said: “I feel very happy and excited to support new students. I have been living in the dormitory for three years now and I find our dormitory secure, comfortable, spacious, airy, with lots of greenery and cleanliness.”
