TVU – Tra Vinh University is taking significant strides in enhancing its educational quality through an intensive faculty training program on curriculum development. From June 4 to June 13, 2024, the university’s Center for Learning Resources and Educational Development is conducting this pivotal initiative, drawing the participation of nearly 100 faculty members.
Key focus areas of the training program: Reviewing and updating curricula; Developing comprehensive learning outcomes; Creating detailed course outlines; Ensuring alignment between learning outcomes, teaching methods, and assessment strategies.
This initiative goes beyond mere skill enhancement; it’s transforming the learning environment into a dynamic, positive space where faculty members collaborate, share insights, and learn from expert trainers.

Looking ahead, Tra Vinh University is committed to continuous improvement. The institution plans to roll out a series of specialized training programs, including: Developing Rubric and Checklist Assessment Standards; Creating Multiple-Choice Question Banks
Designing Written and Oral Tests; Implementing BOPPPS Model Teaching Methods
Exploring Flipped Classroom and Blended Teaching Approaches; Mastering Classroom Assessment Techniques.
