TVU-July 20, 2022, Tra Vinh University (TVU) and the University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) celebrated virtual MoU resigning ceremony.
Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, TVU rector and Dr. Cherry I. Ultra, the president of UEP signed the renewed MoU for the new term of five years, 2022-2027 with the presence of key leaders and managers from both universities. The MoU is hoped to refresh and boost the existing collaborative activities on the basis of effectively exploiting the resources and advantages of the two sides to achieve the mutual goals.
The cooperation area include: students and staffs exchange program, cooperation in training and education, co-hosting the international conferences, forums, seminars and workshops, and sharing academic resources and publication. Among those, lecturers exchange and research cooperation are of special interest to the two universities. The new foci aim to improve the quality of the teaching staff, by making opportunities for the lecturers to develop their professional expertise through international teaching and researching experience.
At the ceremony, the two presidents believed that the re-signing of the MOU will open up opportunities for the future development of the two sides and expected that the mutual plans should be implemented soon with the engagement of staff of two universities.
