On December 18, 2011, at the Hall of Center of Student Education in Defense & Security, TVU coordinated with Dong Thap University to hold the degree awarding Ceremony for 201 new Graduates of upgrading university level classes majoring in pedagogy of Philology, Biology and Mathematics. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung- Vice Rector of TVU, Dr. Nguyen Van Ban- Vice Rector of Dong Thap University, Heads of offices of the two Institutions and the New Bachelors.
This is the second linkage training course between TVU and Dong Thap University aiming at improving professional qualification for teachers of Tra Vinh Province. With the three majors, the course graduation rate is 100%. Over 50% of the students got the pretty good rank and almost 40% were ranked the average.
On this occasion, Dr. Nguyen Van Ban- Vice Rector of Dong Thap University congratulated the new Bachelors and hoped that they would continue their study to meet the needs of society, to carry out the task of industrialization and modernization of the country.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung also expressed his delight with the new Graduates’ outcomes and hoped that they would apply the knowledge obtained in the course into practice effectively and would become a valuable force for hometown and contribute for building and developing the education of Tra Vinh.
Mr. Dung also thanked for Dong Thap Univeristy’s management, particularly the enthusiastic teaching of the lecturers and hoped that the two Institutions would have more joint training courses in the future.
