(TVU) – Nearly 20 communications staff in the Mekong Delta region attended the training sessions on news writing and editing held by Tra Vinh University earlier this February. This course is to equip these officers with the news writing and editing skills.
“Grasping a fundamental structure of a piece of news and complying with the editorial conventions are key elements to attractive and professional news”, said Dr. Ho Dac Tuc, the lecturer of this course, Deputy Dean of TVU School of Foreign Languages.
Ms. Pham Phuong Khanh, staff from An Giang province said: “I found that this training session is very effective since I have gained specialist knowledge in communications to apply into my real job.”
Dr. Ho Dac Tuc, Deputy Dean of TVU School of Foreign Languages obtained his Ph.D degree in social studies in Australia with a great deal of national and international publications in both English and Vietnamese.
