TVU – On November 6th, Tra Vinh University welcomed the delegation of the National Academy of Public Administration – Ho Chi Minh City Campus to visit and work at the University. Joining the delegation were 56 students representing the Southern provinces and cities who are participating in the Senior Official Training Course at the Academy.
On the side of the National Academy of Public Administration – Ho Chi Minh City Campus, the delegation was led by Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Deputy Director of the Campus, and Dr. Nguyen The Tai, Head of the Training Management Department, along with 56 students representing more than 20 agencies and units from the Southern provinces and cities who are participating in the Senior Official Training Course at the Academy.
Welcoming the delegation was Mr. Huynh Kim Nhan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh province.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Tra Vinh University, the delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector; Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector; and representatives of the leaders of TVU’s units.
In her welcoming speech, Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, emphasized the importance of the training course in improving the management capacity of the staff, civil servants, and public employees to meet the work requirements during innovation and integration. According to Dr. Thach Thi Dan, the training program is a valuable opportunity to help staff, civil servants, and public employees improve their professional qualifications and skills while perfecting their leadership and management skills. She wished the delegation a successful trip with many beautiful memories in Tra Vinh.
Dr. Nguyen The Tai, Head of the Training Management Department, Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the National Academy of Public Administration, shared: “This time, there are 56 candidates representing more than 20 agencies and units from the southern provinces and cities participating in the class. The training program is to improve the qualifications of staff, civil servants, and public employees, especially in the context of strong innovation and development of the southern provinces and cities.”
On this occasion, Mr. Huynh Kim Nhan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh province, introduced the remarkable results in implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development in Tra Vinh province. MSc. Pham Trung Yen, Head of the Training Department of Tra Vinh University, reported on the activities and achievements of the University as well as the implementation of autonomy in education in the past time.
At the end of the working session, the delegates participated in the exchange, discussion, and sharing of experiences and ideas revolving around the training program topics, improving the training effectiveness, and fostering the team of staff, civil servants, and public employees.
