Tra Vinh University hosts Workshop on building research groups and publishing in top journals

(TVU) – On May 24th, Tra Vinh University’s Department of Scientific Research Affairs organizes an experience-sharing session on “Building and Developing Research Groups and Publishing Research in Prestigious International Scientific Journals”.

In attendance and sharing at the program are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Hoang Nam, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Bridge and Road Construction (University of Technology – Da Nang University), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Trong Phuoc, Head of the Field Structure Laboratory, Faculty of Construction Engineering (Can Tho University).

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, TVU’s Rector, says: “For many years, Tra Vinh University has persistently implemented the overall strategy of building and developing science and technology in the direction associated with the needs of local socio-economic development and international integration.”

Sharing his experience on “Building and Developing Research Groups”, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Hoang Nam affirms that establishing and developing research groups are essential. These endeavors generate significant scientific values, enhance the university’s prestige, and empower researchers to exploit their potential fully.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Hoang Nam delves into the current state of research groups, the landscape of scientific publications, the process of establishing research groups, and the experience of developing research groups at the University of Danang. He also elaborates on the goals and operational approaches that foster sustainable development for research groups.

The experience-sharing session on “Building and Developing Research Groups and Publishing Research Results in Prestigious International Scientific Journals” contributes valuable insights into scientific research activities, enhancing the quality of research, teaching, and learning for students, lecturers, and researchers at Tra Vinh University.
