Tra Vinh University is ranked 37th among Vietnamese universities in the AD Scientific Index for the year 2023

TVU ranks 37th among universities in Vietnam in the AD Scientific Index 2023, which analyzed the scientific productivity and academic ranking of 120 universities in Vietnam. This achievement is notable for TVU, a young university established in 2006.

Furthermore, among universities established after the year 2000, TVU achieved an outstanding performance ranking 8th, demonstrating its strong development in education and scientific research.

According to the university’s President, Associate Professor Nguyen Minh Hoa, this result is the fruit of the hard work of students, lecturers, researchers, and scientists at TVU. The university will continue to enhance its scientific research and educational quality to elevate its position in the future. TVU will also collaborate with domestic and international organizations, institutes, schools, businesses, and communities to strengthen its educational and research activities, as well as technology transfer aligned with practical applications.

With the mission to train and research in fields that meet the development needs of the Mekong Delta region and the whole country, in the future, Trà Vinh University aims to become a university with significant influence in training, researching, and technology transfer in agriculture, aquaculture, biotechnology, environment, health science, culture, economics, logistics, artificial intelligence, engineering science, and energy. The scientific research projects and products of the lecturers and students at TVU, which are closely linked to practical applications and with high applicability, contribute to serving the production and socio-economic development of the local, regional, and national levels.

The AD Scientific Index is one of the most prestigious ranking systems globally that evaluates the scientific productivity and academic ranking of universities worldwide. It includes 20,444 universities and research institutes from 217 countries worldwide. The AD Scientific Index is a ranking and analysis system based on the scientific activities and the value-added productivity of researchers in a research institution. It allows for evaluating the academic rankings of these institutions based on i10-index, H-index, and citation score in Google Scholar.
