(TVU) – On October 15, at lecture hall D5, the music performance night for welcoming new students in course of 2020 took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere with the participation of more than 1,000 new students of the university. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh university attended and gave an opening speech.
The program took place excitingly with many activities of cultural exchanges, playing in games, finding out information for new students, meeting and exchanging with leaders of faculties and departments of the university.
On this occasion, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa congratulated the new students who have successfully passed the high school exam and just officially enrolled at Tra Vinh University. At the same time, he hoped that all of the students had a happy night enjoying great music performances.
Doan Viet Ha, a new student of Information Technology in course of 2020, expressed: “The welcoming night is really exciting. It brings us full of energy to study and practice in the new school year”
At the music performance night, the Student Union of Tra Vinh University awarded 1 first prize, 1-second prize, 1 third prize, and 4 consolation prizes to 7 excellent individuals in the Zalo sticker design competition among students of the university.
