TVU – On June 13, Tra Vinh University (TVU) held the launching ceremony of the 2025 “Exam Season Support” Program, with the participation of over 400 student volunteers. This annual initiative is part of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign organized by the TVU Youth Union and Student Association, reflecting the spirit of dedication, volunteerism, and social responsibility among TVU students.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector and Standing Committee Member of the TVU Party Committee; and Ms. Ly Thi Diem Thuy, Deputy Head of the Department of Student Affairs. Also present were Ms. Pham Le Phuong Thao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the TVU Youth Union, and President of the TVU Student Association; and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Member of the Executive Committee of the Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the TVU Youth Union, and Vice President of the TVU Student Association, along with numerous staff and student volunteers.

In her remarks, Dr. Thach Thi Dan emphasized the program’s practical significance, highlighting its role in promoting the volunteer spirit and community engagement among students. She also noted that the program offers valuable opportunities for students to develop life skills, enhance social awareness, and accompany exam candidates through one of the most important moments of their academic journey.

The 2025 high school graduation exam in Tra Vinh Province is expected to involve approximately 10,300 students at 31 exam centers. To provide comprehensive support, TVU has proactively coordinated with local Youth Unions and high schools to establish 10 volunteer teams stationed at the 31 exam sites in Tra Vinh and an additional 4 locations in Ben Tre.
The program’s support activities are diverse and practical, including the distribution of free drinking water and snacks, guidance on exam procedures, provision of essential supplies, traffic flow coordination, and volunteer transportation services for candidates and their families. TVU has allocated over 250 million VND to support this year’s program.
The “Exam Season Support” program runs from June 15 to 28, 2025, and is expected to play a key role in easing the stress of both students and parents during this crucial examination period.
Representing over 400 student volunteers, Ta Pham My Tran expressed her pride in joining the initiative, stating that the team is committed to fulfilling their responsibilities while promoting compassion, solidarity, and a deep sense of civic duty.
