(TVU) – On November 6, 2024, Tra Vinh University launched the Peer Support Program, which aims to encourage creativity and innovation in support activities for students of the University.
The event had the attendance of Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University; Dr. Tieu Thanh Thuy, Director of Center of Excellence in Learning Resources and Innovation; representatives of the School’s affiliated units; and the peer support team.
In his opening speech, Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice-Rector, said: “The peer support activity aims to support students in improving their language skills during their studies and research at Tra Vinh University, thereby improving the learning outcomes of students and contributing to improving the quality of the University’s training services.”
Dr. Tieu Thanh Thuy shared that the program encouraged creativity and innovation in support activities for school students. It is an address to help the support teams at the learning resource center work more scientifically and effectively. She hoped the program would become a reliable and helpful address, increasingly developed, and would be participated in by students and trainees studying at Tra Vinh University.
Student Tran Thanh Ngan, Marketing Management University class 2022, expressed: “As a member of the peer support team, I think our responsibility and duty is not only to be the instructors, we are also companions who are always ready to listen, share and support other students to help them improve. I promise to complete the tasks that the School and students entrust, and I always strive to bring students the best learning improvements to create a friendly learning environment and bring great value to the community.”
On this occasion, the Peer Support Team was introduced and awarded a certificate of completion of the training program to serve the peer support work. The program aims to serve international and Vietnamese students studying at all levels of training at the School or participating in student exchange programs at Tra Vinh University.
The content of the Peer Support Program includes guidance and comments on editing essays, theses, or dissertations on grammar, spelling, word use, expression, presentation, and layout of the work; Guidance and comments on editing presentation layout, presentation techniques, and slide layout.

Open time: Starting on November 11th, 2024
– Mondays to Saturdays: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m;
– Sundays: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
