Attending and presiding over the conference are Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector, and leaders of the Youth Union and Student Association of the University. In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, shares that the dialogue session is an annual activity and an opportunity for students to express questions, viewpoints, and suggestions to university leaders. This enables the university to develop timely and appropriate solutions to best serve students’ learning needs.
Before the conference, training units under Tra Vinh University organize dialogue sessions where most questions receive answers. Questions with a macro nature and strategic scope receive answers at the university-level dialogue. Through the program, the University listens to students’ aspirations, grasps their thoughts, understands difficulties and obstacles, and addresses student proposals regarding studying, training, daily life, and answers their questions. The University also provides additional information about policies, innovation directions, development strategies, and the journey to build an advanced university.

The opinions and proposals recorded at the conference represent valuable data and an important basis for the University to make timely and appropriate adjustments in management work, continue to improve and enhance training quality, and serve the goal of improving teaching and learning quality.
The dialogue session takes place in an open and constructive atmosphere where students frankly express opinions and proposals related to management work, processes, and working procedures of functional units, facilities, equipment, and materials serving learning and scientific research. Many opinions focus on policies, scholarships, training result evaluation, career orientation, employment, movements and activities for political-ideological education, ethical lifestyle, physical training, spiritual life, and issues related to admission regulations for the Medicine-Pharmacy, Law, and Education sectors, as well as training management work.

Leaders of relevant units thoroughly answer and respond to all student opinions. In his concluding remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa clarifies the issues students care about and acknowledges the responsible, frank, and constructive spirit of students. University leadership affirms the adoption of appropriate proposals while assigning functional units to review and advise on solutions to improve the effectiveness of management work, training, and serving learners in the coming time.

On this occasion, the University presents gifts to support 18 students from areas affected by storms and floods during the recent period.
