TVU – Tra Vinh University demonstrates its commitment to student welfare by organizing a powerful campaign in response to the Drug Prevention and Control Action Month 2024. Lieutenant Colonel Tran Nam Anh provides a sobering warning about the increasingly complex drug situation in society, particularly among youth. He stresses that the rising trend of drug use and possession poses significant threats to individual health, mental well-being, morality, and legal standing, with far-reaching consequences for families and society.

To combat these challenges, students are encouraged to learn about drug dangers, cultivate healthy lifestyles, engage in physical and cultural activities, and maintain strong principles to resist negative influences.

The event features an interactive anti-drug propaganda session, allowing students to discuss, address drug-related questions, learn about effective situation handling, and exchange valuable information.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Pham Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of the Student Affairs Department, underscores the individual responsibility in drug prevention. He calls for strengthened coordination between the university and relevant authorities to intensify drug awareness education among students.
