TVU – On July 5th, 2023, King Sejong Institute of Korean Language and Culture – Tra Vinh (KSI) holds the opening of a Korean class for officials and employees of Hanyang Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd. at Phu Phong 3 hamlet, Binh Phu commune, Cang Long district, Tra Vinh province.
The class is attended by 30 students who are officials and employees of Hanyang Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd. The learning program includes elementary Korean 1 and elementary Korean 2, with 260 periods, 2 lessons per week, for 8 months starting from July 5th, 2023.
KSI teachers directly teach the classes. The class helps students become familiar with Korean, enables them to listen, understand, and write common words, and allows them to confidently exchange and communicate in Korean in the company’s working environment.
The opening ceremony is attended by Mr. Choi Kyoung Sik, Director of Hanyang Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd., and other officers and employees of the company. On the side of Tra Vinh University, Dr. Chau Thi Hoang Hoa, Director of KSI and Head of the Department of Project Promotion, Mr. Park Jong Arm, Manager of KSI, and KSI teachers are present.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Chau Thi Hoang Hoa expresses gratitude to Hanyang Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd. for facilitating KSI to teach Korean at the company. KSI always supports students in easily grasping and improving their understanding and knowledge of the Korean language, writing, and culture, thus achieving the best results in the course.
Mr. Choi Kyoung Sik, Director of Hanyang Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd., states: The company hopes that officers and employees will overcome difficulties, make efforts to study, share and improve Korean with each other, and work together effectively in the company’s working environment to contribute to its development.
Ms. Le Ngo Huyen Tram, an employee at Hanyang Electronic Vietnam Co., Ltd., promises to cooperate with the company’s officers and employees in complying with the classroom rules and successfully completing the course, thus flexibly applying the acquired knowledge in their practical jobs at the company.
King Sejong Institute of Korean Language and Culture – Tra Vinh (King Sejong Institute – Tra Vinh) is a reciprocal cooperation project between Tra Vinh University and Korea Seojeong University, supported by the King Sejong Institute Foundation and funded by the Korean government to teach the Korean language and promote Korean culture to the community.
