TVU – Tra Vinh University hosts a pivotal meeting with the Vietnam Association of Engineering Geology and the Environment (VAEGE) on October 10, exploring collaboration for the upcoming VIETGEO 2025 National Scientific Conference.
The VAEGE delegation, spearheaded by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Duc Thinh, Chairman of VAEGE, receives a warm welcome from TVU’s leadership. Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Dr. Huynh Cong Khoi, Head of the Department of Scientific Research Affairs, and other SET leaders are present to greet the visitors.
Dr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Dean of SET, kicks off the session with a cordial welcome to the VAEGE delegation. Both parties then discuss co-organizing the 5th National Scientific Conference on Engineering Geology – Geotechnical Engineering and Environment for Sustainable Development (VIETGEO 2025).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Duc Thinh, President of VAEGE, highlights the conference’s focus areas, including Engineering Geology – Technical Geology and Hydrogeology, Construction Techniques – Geotechnical Materials, Resources – Environment, Drilling – Exploitation Technology, and Geohazards – Sustainable Development in the Mekong Delta.
VAEGE pledges to facilitate connections between TVU and key stakeholders for the VIETGEO 2025 conference planning. During the talks, both sides identify critical issues, propose effective solutions, and outline comprehensive preparations to ensure the conference’s success.
This collaboration underscores Tra Vinh University’s commitment to advancing scientific research and fostering partnerships in engineering geology and environmental studies.
