During the program, students receive dental check-ups, with records of tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral conditions. The program raises awareness of the importance of oral health for overall well-being and improves dental health among students. Experts also guide students on proper oral hygiene and provide dental fillings using the Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART) technique.

The ART technique is commonly used for children. It uses Glass Ionomer Cement (GIC), also known as Fuji material, which offers strong adhesion, protects the dental pulp, and releases fluoride to help prevent recurrent tooth decay.

The program gives lecturers and students from the Odonto-Stomatology Department, College of Medicine and Pharmacy (CMP), Tra Vinh University opportunities to serve the community and participate in oral health care activities. It helps primary school students access dental services and build daily oral hygiene habits.
