(TVU) – At the beginning of June, 2018, Tra Vinh University (TVU) and Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies co-organized the seminar on building capacity for scientific research and innovation to TVU faculty members. The seminar deeply focused on two main topics consisting of fundraising for research projects and innovation, and service learning.
In Dr. Nguyen Duy Mong Ha’s presentation on “How to raise funds for innovation and research”, she stressed the importance of increasing management skills in scientific research and creative innovation, the significance of collaboration, and sustainable fundraising strategy, all which are necessary to TVU faculty members.
The second seminar theme “Service Learning” by Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Thi Hong Xoan aimed to help students serve community more effectively.
Dr. Tran Dinh Lam, Director of the Center highly evaluated these seminar sessions since they enable to help TVU faculty members approach new teaching methods.
