TVU – On April 12, 2022, Tra Vinh University and the Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals in Hungary jointly held a ceremony to sign a cooperation agreement to seek and develop cooperation opportunities related to promoting education and training.
Presiding over the signing ceremony on the side of Tra Vinh University was Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh – Rector of TVU, co-chaired the signing ceremony on the Hungarian side with Dr. Phung Kim San, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thi Dong Xuan, and Dr. Nguyen Cong Tam. The ceremony also had the presence of leaders of Faculties, Departments under Tra Vinh University, and experts in many different scientific fields of the Association’s members.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides is a landmark achievement and also a successful continuation of the agricultural development cooperation relationship between Tra Vinh University and the Center for Gene Conservation – Conservation Association. Hungarian small animals were initiated by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Thi Dong Xuan since 2016.
Besides the main agricultural cooperation, today with the connection support of Dr. Thieu Ngoc Lan Phuong – liaison representative of the Association, Tra Vinh University and the Vietnamese Knowledge Association in Hungary has established a cooperative relationship to develop together in many other scientific fields through teaching activities. teaching, research exchange, educational consulting, publishing, scientific conferences, and seminars.
Representative of the Vietnamese Intellectuals Association in Hungary, Dr. Phung Kim San – President of the Association expressed his wish to contribute a small part of his energy through teaching, professional consulting, innovation, and research activities to promote the educational and economic development – of Vietnamese – Hunger society in general and the development of Tra Vinh University in particular
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector expressed his excitement in signing the cooperation agreement. Leaders of both sides also expressed their hope that the signing event will bring about many concrete cooperation activities in the future.
Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals in Hungary
The Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals in Hungary was established on April 1, 2017, with the goal of exchanging and updating knowledge, participating in professional consulting activities, and contributing to promoting the bilateral relationship in cooperation projects. Hungarian-Vietnamese cooperation in the fields of science, engineering, technology, culture, and education. Participating in activities of teaching, training, innovation, and technology transfer to help start-up businesses, cooperation, and exchange expertise with universities and research institutes to promote economic development, society in Hungary and Vietnam, and at the same time support the Vietnamese community living in Hungary in education.
