(TVU) – On October 25, 2021, Tra Vinh University holds a signing ceremony of a Memorandum Agreement (MoA) with Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), Philippines on co-organizing the Virtual International Conference on Agri-Aqua 2021.
Co-chairing the signing ceremony between the two universities, is Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes, Vice President of Southern Leyte State University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of Tra Vinh University.
The ceremony had the presence of representatives of SLSU lecturers, representatives of the Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture, leaders of the Department of International Cooperation and Project Promotion of Tra Vinh University. The purpose of the MoA is that the two sides will co-host a webinar on sustainable agriculture and aquaculture development in November 2021.
TVU and SLSU are strategic partners that have established a long-term cooperative relationship over the past 10 years. The two universities have achieved many important cooperation achievements in the fields of training, research, exchange of trainees, etc.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector expresses his interest in signing the MoA, towards co-organizing the webinar event in November 2021. The leaders of both universities also express their hope that the signing event will bring more concrete cooperation activities in the future.
