Tra Vinh University signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, Indonesia

(TVU) – On December 20, 2021, Tra Vinh University (TVU) holds the virtual MOU Signing Ceremony with Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA), Indonesia.

The event was held with the presence of Prof. Dr. Sri Mulyani, Rector of UNSIKA and Dr. Amirudin, Vice-Rector of UNSIKA. On the side of TVU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of TVU chaired the ceremony, along with the presence of Assoc. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector; leaders of the International Cooperation and Project Promotion Office and the online participation of the leader of Resource Development Institute, and heads of schools and departments.

UNSIKA and TVU have some common points in training programs focus on the fields of education, research and community development… Therefore, the two universities have agreed to sign the MoU on the exchange of curriculum, lecturers, and joint training programs… to improve training quality and promote cooperation development.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of TVU expressed that “UNSIKA offers various study programs in various fields such as Economics, Law, Engineering, Commuter Science, Agriculture…So this will surely open up many potential collaborative opportunities between us through student exchange, faculty member and staff exchange programs as well as joint degree programs”.

The signing of a memorandum of understanding between TVU and UNSIKA is an opportunity for cultural exchange between the University in general and the people of the two countries in particular. Thereby, creating conditions for lecturers of TVU and UNSIKA to have the opportunity to learn, share knowledge, innovate teaching methods and improve training quality.
