TVU – On the morning of October 30, 2025, Tra Vinh University organized a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Tra Vinh University and partner enterprises in the consulting, design, and construction sectors.

Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, attended the MOU signing ceremony. From the College of Engineering and Technology at Tra Vinh University, Dr. Huynh Tan Thanh, Vice Dean, and Dr. Phan Tan Tai, Vice Dean, participated along with staff and lecturers from the Department of Construction at the College of Engineering and Technology.
Representatives from participating enterprises included Mr. Thach Do Ra, Director of Cuu Long Sustainable Technical Infrastructure Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company (Las XD 240); Mrs. Pham Thi Nhu Y, Director of Au Lac Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company; Mr. Tran Khoi Nguyen, Deputy Director of Nguyen Phuc Investment and Development Co., Ltd.; and Mrs. Tran Thi Hue Ngoc, Director of Trung Kim Trading and Construction Co., Ltd.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice Rector, affirmed that Tra Vinh University always focuses on expanding cooperation with enterprises, aiming toward training that meets practical needs, especially in engineering and technology fields. This MOU signing activity represents a concrete step in that direction, creating a foundation for developing training programs following the Co-op model, helping students learn in parallel with practical experience at enterprises.
Enterprise representatives also expressed their desire to strengthen coordination with the university in training, research, and recruitment, while committing to receive internship and co-op students, provide expert support, and contribute to building training programs that meet labor market requirements.

At the ceremony, both parties agreed on several key cooperation areas, including consulting and contributing to the construction and development of Co-op-oriented training programs; organizing internship programs, site visits, and career experience activities for students; supporting recruitment and sharing personnel selection criteria for graduating students; and coordinating applied research activities and technology transfer.

At the end of the program, delegates toured the Tra Vinh University campus and the Department of Construction’s practice workshop at the College of Engineering and Technology. This activity helps enterprises gain additional information about the university’s training capacity, infrastructure, and potential for future cooperation.
