On December 3, Tra Vinh University (TVU) participates in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony within the framework of the UNIIC Demo Day cum ASIP Conference 2025. The event takes place at the National University of CheaSim Kamchaymear (NUCK), Cambodia, with CamTech University hosting and the University Incubator Consortium (UNIIC) coordinating. UNIIC operates as a global network connecting university-based business incubators across continents.

The ceremony gathers representatives from more than 20 member universities of the UNIIC network, including Tra Vinh University (Vietnam), Hung Vuong University Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Cambodia University of Technology & Science (Cambodia), the National University of CheaSim Kamchaymear (Cambodia), together with partners from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea, South Africa, India, and Uzbekistan. The event serves as an international platform that strengthens academic partnerships, entrepreneurship support, and innovation development among member institutions.
The Tra Vinh University delegation includes Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Director of the Vinh Long Business Incubator, along with Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Van, College of Khmer Southern Language-Culture-Arts and Humanities (CLASKA).

During the ceremony, participating institutions agree to enhance cooperation in student and faculty exchanges, joint research activities, innovation and entrepreneurship program development, business incubation support, scientific conferences, international forums, and training programs. These activities include accelerators, bootcamps, and cross-border startup support initiatives. The partners also commit to sharing educational resources, academic materials, expertise, and data to improve the quality of teaching, research, and entrepreneurial outcomes.
The MOA signing represents an important step in strengthening international cooperation in education and training. It creates new opportunities to expand global innovation networks, share resources, and promote cross-border startup ecosystems.
As an active member of UNIIC, Tra Vinh University continues to affirm its strong commitment to international integration. The agreement expands the university’s global partner network and creates greater opportunities for students and faculty to engage in academic exchanges, internships, international training programs, joint research projects, and the commercialization of student innovation initiatives.
