Tra Vinh University student wins encouragement prize at the Southern Regional “Student Singing Voice” contest


TVU – On November 26, the closing ceremony of the 15th National Student Singing Voice Contest – S.MUSIC 2023, Southern Region was held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Technology.

This is an activity organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ocean Edu Joint Stock Company. Deputy Minister of Education and Training Ngo Thi Minh attends the closing ceremony. The contest takes place from November 24-26. It is a competition of 18 teams from colleges, universities in the Southern region with 54 performances and over 400 contestants.


With a sense of responsibility, dynamism and creativity, the teams have performed extremely unique numbers, expressing their aspirations to dedicate and love for their homeland.

The contest contributes to educating the revolutionary tradition, training ethics, ideology, collective awareness; promoting national cultural identity and orienting musical tastes, discovering artistic talents, thereby improving the quality of comprehensive education for students.

The judging committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes to the participating teams. On this occasion, student Kim Thi Thanh Xuan won the consolation prize with her performance “Singing Voice from the Faraway Island” (composed by: Thanh Binh).
