(TVU) – On the morning of November 11, thousands of students were eager to return to school after a long break by Covid-19. The university (TVU) has organized a health examination for students, measured their body temperature, and equipped antibacterial hand washing system for all students.
Mr. Vo Hoang Khai, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, said that the university had fully prepared facilities, spraying disinfectants, disinfecting practice area, classrooms so that students had been feeling safe to go back for studying. The dormitory was also cleaned, disinfected and checked for body temperature before students coming in.
Pham Thi Thu Thao, a Laws student, says “After long break by Covid-19, I am very happy to go back to school and to ensure my learning progress. These days I have participated in all online lessons that the university deployed, regularly monitored and updated the information and notices of the university.”
Before going to class, we were checked and measured by body temperature measuring device, provided face mask, hand sanitizer to ensure hygiene and safety and well comply with epidemic prevention as prescribed. Thu Thao said.
Being with activities to ensure health and safety for students, Mr. Chanh Thach, student’s parent in Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh city, shared: “We feel satisfied with well-preparation of TVU, especially ensuring hygiene, disinfecting, checking for students’ health before they go back to study.
More than 5.000 students who were tested by the body temperature measuring device were healthy and have been confirmed for coming to class. There was no unusual cases detected.
Reported by TVU, the university has cooperated with Taiwan Tzu Chi Charity Association in Vietnam to distribute 22,000 free face masks to students.
