TVU – Tra Vinh University partners with the People’s Committee of Phong Thanh Commune, Cau Ke District, Tra Vinh Province, to provide disadvantaged students health insurance cards, scholarships, school supplies, and bicycles. The event, held on August 29, also includes computer donations to two adopted communes.

Leaders from the Board of Directors, as well as representatives from various departments of Tra Vinh University, attend the program. They are joined by leaders from the Party Committee and People’s Committee of Phong Thanh Commune, along with over 100 disadvantaged students.

TVU distributes 35 health insurance cards, 32 scholarships (500,000 VND each), 500 notebooks, and 6 bicycles, totaling approximately 60 million VND in value. These gifts are contributed by the Party cells of Tra Vinh University to support students as the new academic year begins.

Dr. Thach Thi Dan, TVU’s Vice-Rector, states, “Community outreach is always a priority for our university. We aim to support students facing difficult circumstances in Tra Vinh Province. We hope these practical gifts will encourage students to persevere, continue their studies, and develop into valuable citizens with stable future careers.”

At the event, Mr. Truong Thanh De, Secretary of the Phong Thanh Commune Party Committee, thanks Tra Vinh University for their support. He acknowledges the university’s efforts to motivate students to overcome challenges and excel in their studies.
