TVU – On March 17, Tra Vinh University welcomed the delegation of the Department of Personnel Education and Retraining within the Central Organizing Committee led by Assoc. Dr. Vũ Thanh Sơn, Director of the Department, head of the delegation, and Mr. Trần Trung Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department. The delegation visited and worked on foreign language training and retraining activities for staff at TVU.
Attending the meeting was Mr. Phạm Văn Cường – Deputy Head of the Organization Department of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee.
Receiving the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Minh Hoà, Rector of the University, Dr. Thạch Thị Dân, Vice-Rector of the University, and leaders of the Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanities school, Victory Foreign Language Center, and Heads of units within the university.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Thanh Sơn shared the Khmer language training program for officials at all political levels. He said: “Tra Vinh University was chosen as the Khmer language training institution for officials because the university has a tradition of training Khmer language and has a favorable location where there are a large number of Khmer ethnic people. living”. He emphasized, “this is a long-term training and retraining project, and he requires the University to well meet the requirements, faculty capacity, facilities as well as logistical factors to organize the program.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Minh Hoà was honored to welcome the delegation to work and survey Khmer language training at Tra Vinh University.
Tra Vinh University was selected as the only institution to train the Khmer language for staff in more than 300 training institutions across the country, which is an honor and a great responsibility of the university.
