Tra Vinh University welcomes the delegation from Bac Lieu Technology-Economic College

TVU – On June 6, 2023, Tra Vinh University hosts a visit from the delegation of Bac Lieu Technology-Economic College. The meeting takes place at the Business Incubator of Tra Vinh province.

Representing Bac Lieu Technology-Economic College were Mr. Ha Van Phuc, Secretary of the Youth Union, and Mr. Truong Dinh Khoa, Head of the Student Affairs Department, accompanied by 27 lecturers and students from the Faculty of Accounting-Business Administration.

During the visit, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of Tra Vinh Business Incubator and Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, provided insights into the establishment process, operational methods, and future direction of the company. The center aims to foster an open space where students can unleash their creativity, explore practical startup ideas aligned with the local context, and effectively leverage local resources. Additionally, they utilize digital transformation tools for operational and project management purposes. He also shared information about the organization and operation regulations, as well as the Business Incubator’s performance in the first half of the year and its strategy for the remaining 6 months.

The delegation had the opportunity to tour the service models of Tra Vinh University’s Student Cooperative. Ms. Le Thi Hong Rang, Deputy Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, presented the “Model to Support Student Entrepreneurship” at TVU, which includes inspiring startup events, incubation programs, and training in the necessary knowledge and skills for the entrepreneurial journey. The aim is to create a conducive environment for students to start their businesses after graduation.

Nguyen Duy Bao, a student from the School of Accounting-Business Administration at Bac Lieu Technology-Economic College, shared: “I will apply the knowledge gained from this experience to my business model. The intensive online business program, in particular, is incredibly valuable for students who currently have an online business or plan to start one in the future.”
