(TVU) – Tra Vinh University has 3 winning solutions and products, including a third prize and two consolation prizes in the 7th Tra Vinh Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023).
The product “Process of Wax Coconut Tree Propagation by sexual embryo culture technique” by co-authors Pham Thi Phuong Thuy, Nguyen Ngoc Trai, and Thai Thi Thanh Tron has achieved the third prize. The two consolation prizes awarded are “Management System for Training and Evaluation of E-Learning Courses at Tra Vinh University” by co-authors Nguyen Thai Toan, Duong Ngoc Bich, and Nguyen Kim Trong; and “Construction of an IoT System and Application of Artificial Intelligence to Predict Dissolved Oxygen in Intensive Whiteleg Shrimp Farming Ponds” by co-authors Nguyen Thai Son, Huynh Dang Khoa, and Nguyen Khanh Duy.
The contest aims to promote the creative labor movement in the fields of science and technology, and effectively apply technical solutions in production and life, contributing to the socio-economic development, industrialization, and modernization of the country. The contest is divided into six fields: Information technology, electronics, telecommunications; Automation mechanics, construction, and transportation; Materials, chemicals, and energy; Agriculture, forestry, fishery, natural resources and environment; Pharmacy; Education and training.
The 7th Tra Vinh Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023) has launched in September 2022. The scheduled award ceremony will take place in September 2023. The organizing committee will select the first prizes and the second prizes to participate in the 17th National Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023), organized by The Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.
