(TVU) – On September 17th, Tra Vinh University organizes a training program to nurture and train entrepreneurial and career skills for students, following the Program of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Attending the program were Mr. Bui Tien Dung, main specialist of the Student Political Affairs Department, Ministry of Education and Training and Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of Tra Vinh Business Incubator, Director of Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and over 40 students participating in the program.
During the program, Mr. Bui Tien Dung shares knowledge related to entrepreneurial and career skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and solutions to promote entrepreneurial spirit among students.
According to Mr. Bui Tien Dung, there are 8 skills that foster entrepreneurial spirit in students: initiation, perfect execution, viewing every partner as a customer, creativity and innovation, teamwork, commitment, risk acceptance, and embracing challenges to create new inspiration. The university needs to equip students with skills and knowledge about entrepreneurship and career development during their study period to create motivation and support students in forming and realizing entrepreneurial ideas, thereby contributing to creating employment opportunities for students after graduation.
The program equips students with knowledge of social innovation and social entrepreneurship through experiential learning methods. At the same time, it also provides students with skills to coordinate and implement the development of social entrepreneurial projects. The program provides specialized knowledge in entrepreneurship and career development in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and other business and service sectors. It helps students hone their skills in identifying community and local issues, applying scientific knowledge to problem-solving, and creating value for the community.
