TVU – On October 31 – November 1, 2023, Tra Vinh University collaborates with Vietnamese German University to organize training on “Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI), Setting KPIs and Evaluating Job Performance” with the participation of leaders and officers in charge of staff performance appraisal at affiliated units.
The training is attended by Dr. Ha Thuc Vien, Vice Rector; Ms. Tran Thi Thu Yen, Head of Personnel Administration Department and a delegation from Vietnamese German University.
Tra Vinh University is represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector; Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice Rector; Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Mai, Head of Organization and Personnel Department; and over 100 staff from affiliated units.
In the training, participants get acquainted with the concept of KPI and go through five main contents: Challenges in setting up and implementing KPIs; KPI establishment principles; KPI and performance appraisal; Discussion of appraisal results between managers and employees; Implementation at VGU and lessons learned.
On this occasion, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Yen – key lecturer on “Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI), Setting KPIs and Evaluating Job Performance”, shares with participants essential knowledge and principles for individuals, departments, and units to measure and evaluate work completion efficiency, ensuring that each fulfills job description requirements as the basis for rewarding performance. This helps units identify and set goals in using KPI indices to evaluate job performance, ensuring proper execution of job positions, and contributing to transparent, specific, and effective evaluation of operations and capabilities. It also improves the effectiveness of job performance appraisal.
Through the training, participants share difficulties and challenges in developing KPIs and exchange ideas, as well as point out KPI indices to evaluate individual, departmental, and organizational performance.
