(TVU) – On November 10, 2021, the People’s Committee of Tra Vinh province and Tra Vinh University had a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint TVU Vice-Rector to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung – Dean of Faculty of Economics and Law.
The announcement ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Van Han, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tra Vinh Province, Ms. Kim Thi Thanh Nu, Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs of Tra Vinh Province, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector, Vice-Rectors, former Vice-Rectors, Advisory Council members and leaders of units under TVU.
At the announcement ceremony, Mr. Le Van Han, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee, congratulated Mr. Diep Thanh Tung, the new Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University. In new positions and tasks, Mr. Le Van Han wished he could link to the other members to become a unified and united block and continue to promote the achievements achieved in the past. At the same time, he must actively improve professional qualifications, management methods, and jointly build Tra Vinh University, which is growing day by day.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh – Rector of Tra Vinh University, said: “The union of Tra Vinh University is very pleased to welcome the new Vice-Rector. I hope that Mr. Diep Thanh Tung can join the team in the future. In the coming time, continue to promote further achievements, especially develop many quality accreditation programs at home and abroad and strongly integrate the quality of international education”.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, a new Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, promises to unite with the team, the Board of Directors, the Advisory Council of Tra Vinh University, and all the teachers to unite, promote the achievements, and complete tasks as Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University.
