(TVU) – On March 10, TVU held a conference to elect members of the University Council for the term 2021-2025, with the participation of 123 delegates representing officials, lecturers and staff of TVU.
Speaking at the conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh – Rector of TVU stated that with the agreement of the leaders of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee and Tra Vinh Province People’s Committee, Tra Vinh University held a conference to elect members of the University Council for the term 2021 – 2025. At the conference, the delegates were extremely careful and serious in selecting the members of the University Council. At the same time, the Rector believed that with the credibility of the collective, the members of the University Council would successfully accomplish their responsibilities to bring Tra Vinh University to further development in the future.
Accordingly, there are 15 members of the TVU Council for the term of 2021-2025, in which 10 members are TVU staff, including the Secretary of the Party Committee, the representative of the Board of Directors, the President of the Trade Union, and the representative of the Executive Committee of the HCM Communist Youth Union, and 6 officials, lecturers and employees of TVU. Besides, there are 5 members outside the university, including 1 member introduced by the Tra Vinh Province People’s Committee and 4 representatives of the social community.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh was elected to the position of Chairman of the TVU Council for the term of 2021-2025 with 100% of the votes.
