TVU Cup 2022 awards ceremony

On May 27, the Youth Union of Tra Vinh University held an awards ceremony for the student football league TVU Cup 2022 from May 6th to 27th

There were 15 teams participating in this year’s league from 10 grassroots units of the Youth Union of Tra Vinh University, and 05 high school guest teams including Vo Van Kiet, Binh Minh, Tam Binh (Vinh Long Province), Le Quy Don and Che Guevara (Ben Tre Province).

As a result, the first prize belonged to the School of Engineering – Technology; the second prize was awarded to the School of Economics – Law, and the School of Education won the third prize. Tam Binh High School (Vinh Long) won the Consolation Prize. In addition, the organizers also awarded individual titles to the best goalkeeper and the highest scorer in the league.

Also on this occasion, the Youth Union of Tra Vinh University organized an interactive session with football player Huynh Nhu, captain of the Vietnam women’s national football team, who just won the Gold Medal in SEA Games 31. The session took place in a joyful atmosphere and filled with national pride.
