Tra Vinh University (TVU) recently held a ceremony to announce and officially establish theย International Student Representative Committee for the 2025-2026 term; nearly 100 students from Laos and Cambodia, currently studying and living at TVU, attended the event.
The ceremony included Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector; Ms. Chau Thi Truc Ly, Head of the University Council Office; Dr. Huynh My Phuong, Head of the School of Pre-University; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Khanh, Head of the Department of International Collaboration and Deputy Head of the Overseas Student Management Board; along with representatives from various departments and units.
Dr. Thach Thi Dan congratulated the newly formed committee and emphasized TVU’s commitment to its international student community. She expressed her hope that the committee would serve as a strong bridge between the university and its international students, fostering a more integrated, connected, and productive learning environment.
Dr. Huynh My Phuong, Head of the School of Pre-University, announced the members of the TVU International Student Representative Committee: Seng Boramey (Chair), Inphengthavong Binly (Vice Chair), Phanny Sedthpong (Vice Chair), Sambath Sreynich (Member), and Ou Sambatpanha (Member).
On behalf of the International Student Representative Committee, Seng Boramey expressed deep gratitude to the university administration and faculty for their support. He pledged the committee’s dedication to assisting international students and working together to overcome challenges throughout their academic journey.
