TVU held the third Computing Olympic Contest


On April 14th, 2012, Department of Information Technology (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) held its third computing Olympic Contest for students of the Faculty. Mr. Phan Quoc Nghia-Head of the Oragnizing Board attended and gave the opening speech.

The Contest attracted more than 60 students majoring in Information Technology, Electricity of different courses. The Contest was divided into two sections. Section A for students of university level and section B for students of college level.

Finally, the Examiner Board gave six prizes for both groups with two first prizes, two second prizes and two third prizes. Beside receiving merit certificates and prizes from the Organizing Board, the winners also received gifts from the Keyboard Trade and Computing Services company.

It is known that the candidates with best results at this contest will be selected and trained their professional knowledge to attend the National Computing Olympic Contest in 2012 held in Thai Nguyen City next November.
