TVU hosts talk show on orientation for Business Administration majors

TVU – On July 12, Tra Vinh University organizes a talk show themed “Orientation for Business Administration Majors”. The program aims to help Business Administration students choose the right specialization, thereby identifying future career paths while also strengthening the connection between the university and the business community.

The talk show features three guest speakers: Ms. Dang My Chau, Director of Operations at AISMARTUP Company; Mr. To Le Minh Thanh, Chief Sales Representative for the Central Highlands and Central regions at Viettronic Tan Binh Company; and Mr. Vo Xuan Phu, CEO of AIDO Group.

Representing the School of Economics and Law are Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Principal of the School of Economics; Dr. Nguyen Tan Dat, Vice Principal; Dr. Lam Thi My Lan, Dean of the Faculty of Management; along with Dr. Vo Thi Diem Thuy and MSc. Ly Thi Be Luyen, Vice Deans of the Faculty of Management.

In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen emphasizes the importance of choosing the right major, especially in the context of a rapidly evolving labor market. According to him, for students to integrate effectively and develop sustainably in today’s business landscape, it is essential to equip them with practical knowledge and a clear understanding of job-specific requirements. The program provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable insights, understand career expectations, and expand their professional networks with industry representatives—laying the groundwork for internships and future careers.

  

During the talk show, guest speakers share practical information about career opportunities, characteristics of each major, and essential skills needed in real business environments. As a result, students receive clearer guidance on their academic and professional paths, helping them identify specializations that align with their strengths and personal aspirations.

Throughout the session, student questions related to major selection, soft skills, and post-graduation direction are thoroughly addressed by the speakers—offering a wealth of real-world knowledge and advice.
