TVU – Tra Vinh University has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with LuThai Group and International Fashion School of Shandong Vocational College of Light Industry from China on May 15, 2025.
This partnership marks a significant advancement in the university’s international cooperation efforts, strengthening the connection between academic training and real-world business practices. The ceremony brought together key representatives from all three institutions to formalize their commitment to collaborative educational and professional development initiatives.

The signing ceremony featured prominent attendees, including Mr. Liu Zi Bin, Party Secretary and Chairman of LuThai Group, and Ms. Hao Yan, a leader from the International Fashion School of Shandong Vocational College of Light Industry. Tra Vinh University was represented by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Former Vice Rector and Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council, and Dr. Ngo So Phe, Principal of the College of Khmer Southern Language-Culture-Arts and Humanities (CLASKA). The event also welcomed leaders from various university departments and students specializing in Chinese and English languages, demonstrating strong institutional support for this international partnership.

The cooperation agreement establishes multiple concrete areas of collaboration that will benefit students and enhance educational quality. These initiatives include developing “Chinese language + vocational skills” training programs, organizing international joint classes, providing enterprise internship opportunities, facilitating technology transfer, and sharing educational resources between institutions. Dr. Thach Thi Dan emphasized that this partnership creates valuable opportunities for students to experience international learning and working environments while improving their professional capabilities for the global job market. The Chinese partners expressed strong enthusiasm for the collaboration, viewing it as a foundation for developing quality education and human resources within the Belt and Road Initiative framework, ultimately serving the educational and economic integration strategy between Vietnam and China.
