On November 7, 2020, Mr. Vo Phuoc Hung, Head of the Department of Information Technology, and 45 students attended the Information Technology Job Fair at Can Tho University.
In the festival, Tra Vinh University students had access to more than 18 employers in the IT field such as VNPT, FPT Software, TMS, TPS, Dek, etc. TVU students, as well as more than 2000 students from other universities, participate in many useful activities taken place during the festival such as direct recruiting interviews at booths; knowing about the requirements of job positions in the Information Technology sector; visit booths, advertise to introduce companies, businesses, products, services…
Mr. Hung said: “These trips are practical activities to realize the goal of Tra Vinh University that always create career opportunities for students while learning time to help them increase their ability to look for work as well as equipping the necessary skills and career direction upon graduation.
TVU also participates in the spirit of step by step establishing a sustainable relationship between TVU and business to improve the quality of training to meet the requirements of the society, and at the same time to create favorable conditions for businesses to choose the best human resource.”
Student of the Bachelor of Information Technology class 2017, Nguyen Huynh Huu Tai said: “This is the 5th time I have attended a Job Fair, of which 3 times at Tra Vinh University and 2 times in Can Tho. I have prepared 06 CVs and submitted them to companies like TMA, TPS, VNPT, etc. I and some of my friends have bravely registered to interview for the position of Tester, a programmer at TMA and TPS companies. Although there are no interview results from the employer, this has been a really rewarding trip, I have got a lot of experience, job application skills as well as confidence in the future.”
