On January 16, 2012, the two lecturers from TVU, Ms. Cao Thi Hong Cam- Acting Dean of Faculty of Economics, Laws and Foreign Languages and Ms. Chau Thi Hoang Hoa- Head of Center of International Cooperation in Education & Training (Cicet) had a meeting with Dr. Graham Pike- Dean of International Education and Mr. Bruce Condie- Director of Business Development and International Marketing of Vancouver Island University (VIU). The meeting was one of the programs between representatives of TVU and VIU in their three week trip in Canada.
At the meeting, the two parties discussed the issues relating to the program of Bachelor of Business Admistration which was approved by the MOET in 2009. For this program, the students will study the first two years at TVU and the remain courses will be conducted at VIU. Also, TVU will deliver English courses at many different levels to assist the students get the language requirement for studying at VIU. After graduation, the students will get the Bachelor degree from VIU.
Besides perfoming the above program, VIU will continue to support TVU in building some advanced programs. Dr. Graham Pike highly appreciated the long-term partnership with TVU and hoped that the cooperation between the two universities will be stronger.
