TVU – On July 31, Tra Vinh University (TVU) holds a work session with a delegation from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Regional Office in Hanoi, led by Mr. Do Minh Viet — a marketing consulting specialist studying in Germany. The Vice Rector of TVU — Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, and leaders of other university departments meet and work with the DAAD representatives.
Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia welcomes the delegation to the university and expresses excitement for the implementation of collaboration between TVU and DAAD Vietnam in the fields of education and scientific research.
The meeting serves as an opportunity for the two parties to exchange information and figure out potential areas of collaboration in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, and education. Specifically, DAAD will serve as a bridge to introduce TVU to institutes in Germany and implement activities like scientific research, lecturer exchanges, and student exchanges. They will also organize scientific seminars, cultural exchanges, and particularly initiatives to support student start-ups and innovation.
Speaking on behalf of the DAAD Regional Office in Hanoi, Mr. Do Minh Viet praises TVU for the gracious welcome provided to the delegation. He expresses hope for more opportunities for the two organizations to work together in the future.
On this special occasion, TVU and DAAD Vietnam also collaborate to conduct a seminar on “Opportunities for Study and Research in the Federal Republic of Germany.” Speaking at the event are Mr. Do Minh Viet and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan—a lecturer at TVU’s School of Agriculture and Aquaculture who used to study in Germany.
The seminar provides TVU students with an overview of the educational system, living conditions, employment options, and a broad view of Germany and the German people. Additionally, they receive information about bachelor’s and master’s level programs for international students as well as policies related to the living and learning environment for Vietnamese students in Germany.
